Larvik joined ICORN in 2018. The ICORN programme in the city is managed by Larvik Library, where the ICORN resident also has office space.
In 2018, Larvik welcomed Palestinian writer, poet, and activist Wesam Almadani as its first ICORN resident.
Between 2021 and 2023, Iranian journalist and women's rights activist Moloud Hajizadeh was in ICORN residence in Larvik.
In 2024, Sudanese journalist, writer, and translator Elzahraa Jadallah took up the ICORN residency in the city.
