Telemark County joined ICORN in September 2025.
As a member region, Telemark County does not directly host writers, artists, and journalists at risk due to their work and professional activities. Instead, the county supports the ICORN Cities of Refuge in the region.
Currently, there are four Cities of Refuge in Telemark County: Midt-Telemark, Tokke, Skien, and Porsgrunn.
